Fifth Annual Bernie’s Baseball Buddies Evening at Fenway
Boston, MA, August 2, 2004 — Bernie Rubin, a.k.a. Bernie from Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture, recently spent an evening at Fenway Park with a group of children from the Home for Little Wanderers in Boston, as part of his fifth annual “Bernie’s Baseball Buddies” program. Bernie arranged for the kids to get a tour of the park and meet the beloved Green Monster. Bernie and the kids hung out and ate peanuts, hot dogs, pizza, soda, and ice cream while Pedro Martinez pitched a win for the Red Sox.
