Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture In The Community

Raynham, MA, July 13, 2004 — Bernie Rubin, co-founder of Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture, attended the company’s fourth annual American Red Cross blood drive.  The drive was held for the first time at Bernie & Phyl’s new Raynham store.  Nearly 50 donors came to give blood.  Pictured from left to right: Deb Beresford, Raynham store manager; Bernie Rubin, co-founder of Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture; and Emma Bernier, a Red Cross staff member.  Donating blood is Buddy Martin, of Hudson, warehouse manager at Bernie & Phyl’s Raynham store.

Saugus, MA, July 13, 2004 — Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture recently co-sponsored a child car seat safety check at their Saugus store.  Nearly 100 families had their car seats checked and/or reinstalled by the state police to make sure that they were safe.  The event was co-sponsored with Channel 5.  Shown here, left to right, are Phyllis and Bernie Rubin, co-founders of Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture, and state trooper Grant Moulaison.
