Boost America!

Saugus, MA, May 2002 — Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture in Saugus recently hosted the kick-off event of Ford’s Boost America! campaign in Massachusetts, in cooperation with the Governor’s Highway Safety Bureau, United Way of Massachusetts Bay, and Fox 25. Fifty technicians from local and state police forces volunteered their time and expertise to check car seat safety in over 150 vehicles. Over 100 booster seats were given to needy families and installed correctly by volunteer technicians. The Boost America! program is giving away up to one million booster seats nationally to families in need.
